Confluence by Cannon Design emerges from the idea that the services we provide to clients need to be integrated and embrace the intersection of innovation and performance rather than the conventional thinking of many advisory firms.
For many years, we have witnessed a less-than-optimal system of project definition and delivery that embraces pieces of the problem rather than the problem as a whole. Through Confluence by Cannon Design, we advocate for a new manner of working: one that integrates healthcare professionals and design professionals to examine how transforming healthcare delivery can alter and be impacted by changes in process and their effect on human capital. At the same time, we seek to understand how process and human capital inform technology to ensure technologies enhance productivity and contextual awareness rather than stifling it. We also explore how the built environment can be leveraged to respond to processes, human capital and technologies as opposed to forcing them to respond to the built environment.
